It has been a long time since we started working on BIG BOOTS. It is finally taking a shape and we are about to shoot the whole film on 30/31 October 2010 in East London. Keep your fingers crossed...

We are aiming to have the film ready to show around Christmas. Think of a little present for you from Santa.

We are currently casting the film and looking for young people to play main parts in the film. We need adults too, some of them have already been cast but we waiting to have this confirmed.

Please support our project by becoming a member of our Facebook group! We desperately need all the support we can get - both moral and fiscal - over the coming weeks and months. Invite friends and post on our wall. You never know who may see it...

If you a member of our Facebook group you will be emailed all the updates and will be the first to know how far we are going and when we are showing the film.

All you need to do is click on the Facebook LOGO on the left and simply join the group and invite others.

Last year we organised two fantastic pre-launch parties. Some of the Facebook group members may remeber. Many things changed since then but we are grateful for those who contributed, participated, attended or simply supperted us.

A big thanks again to everyone who supported our latest cabaret-style party fundraiser. To refresh your memory, we hosted a fundraising party on June 13th to raise some money for a project I am working on called Big Boots.

If you were unable to make it to our last event, do not worry; we had so much fun the last time that we have decided to host another party on 30 September at he same venue (George IV Ballroom, 185 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DR) from 6pm till 11pm.

For the small fee of £3 you will be entertained by a mind boggling array of talent, from singers, to a burlesque act... (talent will be confirmed closer to the time).

The Big Boots team will be hosting a fundraising event on Thursday, 9 July 2009, from 7pm to midnight at the George IV Ballroom, 185 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DR. The event will feature:

*DJ set by Alvin Da' Chipmunk*
*Live poetry by writer, Sophie Mayer*
*Burlesque act*
*Screenings of shorts by fellow filmmakers*

Tickets are £3 at the door - your name will be entered into a raffle with the chance of winning one of many fantastic great prizes.
